Sinead Keenan

Sinead has worked at Monaghan Volunteer Centre since 2014 and became coordinator in 2019. She has a varied role which includes working with both individual volunteers and organisations that involve volunteers. Part of her role involves assisting individuals to register with the Volunteer Centre and with choosing suitable volunteering opportunities. Sinead also works with organisations to develop the role descriptions for our website to help them recruit new volunteers. She is also involved in publicising the Volunteer Centre and the volunteering opportunities available. As part of this role she visits various community groups, adult education classes and schools.

Sinead is also an Liason Person for Garda Vetting and deals with Garda Vetting applications for a number of non-profit organisations across Co. Monaghan.  She delivers our Garda vetting training.

Grace has worked with Monaghan Volunteer Centre since 2013. Her role mainly consists of engaging with volunteers and supporting people into new volunteer roles. In her work she also works closely with not for profit groups around County Monaghan, developing volunteer roles and supporting groups in their voluntary activites.   Grace is also Garda vetting liasion person.

Liza Hackett

Liza joined our team in May 2020. She has a background in youth and community work. As well as working with people interested in volunteering, Liza is very involved with two MID older people’s projects, Befriending Monaghan and Helping Hands. You can read more about these projects HERE
