Welcome to our December newsletter. Here are just of few of the volunteering roles you can find on our WEBSITE

 

Aware are seeking supporters for their Life Skills Online programme. Training is provided for this role. AWARE

Carrickmacross Community Allotments are seeking new volunteers to help out with the work of the allotments. ALLOTMENTS

Irish Girl Guides Northeast are seeking unit helpers at various locations. GUIDES

Friday Night Teens is a youth club for young people on the autism spectrum. They would like some extra volunteers to help out every second Friday evening in Monaghan Town. FRIDAY

The Age Action shop in Monaghan has volunteer roles available. AGE ACTION 

Drop Inn Ministries also has retail volunteer roles available. DROP INN 

The NCBI shop in Carrickmacross would love some new volunteers to help out for a few hours a week. NCBI 

The Monaghan Town Park Run has any opportunity for anyone aged 16 plus to help out for an hour on Saturday mornings at Rossmore Park, Monaghan. RUN

Irish Neonatal Health Alliance need skilled seamstresses/quilters to make  make clothing for babies born prematurely who sadly do not survive.  SEW

Volunteer Management Tip of the Month 

Watch for burnout. Don’t over-use your volunteers by giving them too many shifts, hours or positions. Watch for signs that a volunteer has over-committed. Try to be flexible and find a schedule that works for each individual volunteer.

 

 Christmas Holidays
