Happy St Patrick’s Day 

We hope you all have lots of fun celebrating St Patrick’s Day this year. We have two volunteer roles available if you would like to get involved.

Drumkill Bus Helper  

Drumkill in Threemilehouse would like to talk with a volunteer who has a few hours to spare on a Tuesday. This role involves accompanying the people who attend Drumkill on their bus journey to the centre. Click Here

Steadfast House Board Member  

This is a great role for anyone seeking board experience. Steadfast House was formed in 1966 and has provided support to people with intellectual disabilities and their families in the region since. Click Here

Carrick Youthers Cafe 

This is an exciting new volunteer role for Carrickmacross. This role would be great for anyone seeking experience in youthwork. Volunteers will be helping with a group for young people age 12 – 18. Click Here

National Volunteer Management Conference  

The 2023 National Volunteer Management Conference will take place on Wednesday 26th April at the University of Galway. Click Here

Group spotlight – HUGG 

HUGG provides a free, non-judgemental, safe and confidential space where people bereaved by suicide can share their experiences and feelings and receive and offer support to each other. 

HUGG Monaghan launched in November 2022, and anyone bereaved by suicide is welcome to attend. To join HUGG Monaghan simply complete an online form at www.hugg.ie or call 01 513 4048 (monitored answering machine).
