Welcome to our November Newsletter! We celebrated our County Monaghan Volunteer Awards on Sunday 6th November in the Iontas Theatre Monaghan. We had a great evening celebrating and highlighting the amazing work volunteers are doing in County Monaghan, more news on our winners below.

Volunteer Roles

ALONE are looking for dedicated volunteers from all areas in Co. Monaghan to visit or phone clients at risk of social isolation, this is a very worthwhile and rewarding role https://bit.ly/3HkIUWi

HUGG are a national organisation that work with and support people who have been effected by suicide, they are currently looking for volunteer group facilitators in the County Monaghan Area, you can learn more about this role here https://bit.ly/32ogw6L

Failte Isteach is a community project involving volunteers welcoming migrants through free conversational English classes; they need new volunteers for a new group in Clones, no previous experience required as training will be provided. Click here for more information http://bit.ly/3GCzhC1

Steadfast House board member support people with intellectual, physical and/or sensory disabilities along with their families, throughout Monaghan & Cavan. They are hoping to recruit some new member to their board, more information here; http://bit.ly/3yBMgml

Tyrone Guthrie Centre offer residential workspace to local, national and international artists from across all art forms, they are recruiting for a administration assistant on a voluntary basis, learn more here https://bit.ly/3Afwheg

Preloved fashion charity fundraiser  A day of fun, fashion and fundraising in aid of local branches of MS Ireland and the Alzehimer Society! Can you help?

There are a number of organisations working around the County to offer weekly & bi-weekly lunch and social clubs to older members of our communities. These organisation provide a valuable service and they need your help. Can you spare 3-4 hours one day a week/fortnight?
