Tip of the month – Where have all the volunteers gone?!

We have met with groups recently who are facing difficulty involving new volunteers and re-engaging former volunteers. This is a trend that is emerging all over the country caused by a variety of factors such as people reprioritising their time post Covid, a buoyant jobs market and a surge in new community groups, hobby groups and activities.

A good starting point for any group is to dedicate your next meeting to the issue of membership and recruitment. Our staff members are here to help and would be happy to meet with your group to discuss recruitment and retention of volunteers.
