The Irish Girl Guides The Irish Girl Guides offer personal development opportunities for  young women, they have a number of clubs in County Monaghan and are recruiting for leaders in Monaghan town, Ballybay and Clones. More information here https://bit.ly/2XnpIWE

Dawn to Dusk Event Volunteer SOSAD Carrickmacross need volunteers for their “Dawn to Dusk walk” on Sunday 12th September. Volunteers are needed to help with registrations, refreshements and stewarding. They especially want to hear from anyone who has first aid qualifications. Pitch Side Photographer Blaney Academy are hoping to recruit a pitch side photographer to take photographs during team games and training. More information here https://bit.ly/3yIXZ0a

Cahan’s Charity Shop based in Ballybay is recruiting for shop assistants to help with the daily running of their charity shop further information can be found here  https://bit.ly/3vfPZ4d

 Cycling Ireland are recruiting for an AXA Community Bike ride leader. The aim of this project is to inspire people in Ireland to get on their bikes regularly in a healthy, safe and social environment. The County Monaghan Volunteer Awards 2021

The County Monaghan Volunteer Awards is an annual event organsied by Monaghan Volunteer Centre. The aim of these awards is to recognise, reward and celebrate the achievements of volunteers throughout County Monaghan. We have three categories The Volunteer of the Year, The Volunteer Group Award and The Volunteer Lifetime Achievement award; winners will receive a trophy and €350 for their group. Nominations are currently open, you can download or complete a nomination form from our website here https://bit.ly/3zn8B52 The awards close for nominations on FRIDAY 13th AUGUST at 5pm

Tip of the Month: Many hands make light work

Does your website need updated? Do you need support with P.R? Would your organisation benefit from support with administration? Perhaps you would like some online facilitators for your groups if you’re still meeting online? If you feel you need more hands to help in your organisation get in touch, Monaghan Volunteer Centre can help you to develop roles for volunteers as well as helping with recruitment.
