Welcome to our June Newsletter! It is now officially Summer and the weather has changed for the better! As restrictions continue to ease, more organisations are reopening, so we have some new and exciting roles this month!

The Irish Girl Guides is a youth driven and dynamic organisation that offers a varied programme of activities for girls and young women, they are currently recruiting for Volunteer Leaders to establish Girl Guides (10-14) groups in Monaghan town & Clones. Ballybay Ladybirds, part of the Irish Girl Guides Network, is a group for girls aged 5-7 they are currently recruiting for a Volunteer Leader. More information here https://bit.ly/3vaRnW7

Ballybay Brownies, also part of the Irish Girl Guides network is a group for girls aged 7-10, they are currently recruiting for an Assistant Volunteer Leader. More information here https://bit.ly/3x8CXac

The Cahan’s Charity Shop is based in Ballybay, they are recruiting for volunteers to help with the day-to-day running of their charity shop, they are particularly interested to hear from anyone who may be available on a Saturday. More information here https://bit.ly/3vfPZ4d

Down Syndrome North East offer help and support to people with Down Syndrome and their families. They are currently recruiting for a receptionist and support worker. More information here https://bit.ly/3bW3tLV

Team Hope are looking for Super Knitters to volunteer from home by knitting items for their Christmas Shoebox appeal. More Information here https://bit.ly/2ZtvEwm

 MID Programme of the Month – Local Employment Service (LES) & Jobs Club

LES & Jobs Club are both funded by the Department of Social Protection and are part of MID’s work with job seekers and employers. If you are unemployed or thinking about returning to work, we can support you with training, education, funding, government employment schemes and local employer information. Jobs Club delivers both one to one and group support in job preparation skills including CV development, cover letters, job searching and mock interviews.

For employers seeking to recruit local job-ready people, we can match your recruitment requirements with available people.  Our services are free and confidential.
