Events

Monday 17th May sees the start of National Volunteering Week. This years theme ‘Small Action, Big Impact’ captures the essence of much of the volunteering that took place during the pandemic. When people couldn’t volunteer in their normal way they continued to help out in any small way they could. Keep an eye out on our social media for events & competitions which will be happening throughout the week.

Share and Learn Session focusing on social media for community groups will take place on Wednesday the 19th May. This is an opportunity for groups to share their knowledge and learn from each other. All participants are welcome to contribute but there is no pressure to do so. Get in touch to register for the zoom link.

Garda Vetting Training

Garda Vetting Training will take place via zoom Friday 14th May at 10am. Get in touch to book a place.

Tip of the Month – Learning from the pandemic

With the easing of restriction many groups are finding themselves at a crossroads. Will groups gradually revert to how things were done pre Covid-19 or will they retain the new ways of doing things? All opinions need to be heard and consideration needs to be given to new procedures and what they mean for the long term future of the group.
